Recapping the Visit part 2

By the way, that picture of Jack reclining in the waiting area in Kansas City was not posed in any way-once again, just Sean's amazing photography skills at work.
So Jack really grew up on this trip. He's already been a lot stronger when he sits up, but he's reaching out for all kinds of things and at one point in the trip he started playing peek-a-boo with me! He just seems more like a little boy every day.
Jack had a good time meeting his relatives, baths in the sink and took a special liking to Uncle John.

Recapping the Visit

So Jack seemed pretty unphased by the whole flying experience. He always seems happier when both Papa and Mama are around and I'm sure he enjoyed not having to sit in a car seat.
We dressed him in his little flight suit from my friend Sharon and made sure he ate on the ascent and descent so the air pressure didn't get too bad. He slept for a while and on the leg from Kansas City to Wisconsin, he got his own seat. I have to say that flying Midwest Airlines was one of the best flying experiences I've had in years.

every day is different

Jack squirmed his way out of this chair a couple days ago, he looked pretty suprised to find himself lying on the floor, but not particularly bothered by it.

tomorrow we get on a plane for the first time. wish us luck...
